About me
I was born and grew up in Romania. In the summer of 2008 I moved to Malta, which is now my home. As a Romanian expat (expatriate) who spent around 15 years in Malta, I have a deep understanding of the cultural adaptation process and its many challenges. Due to my life experience as an expat, I became curious about how living in another country influences people on various levels, especially on a mental and emotional level. For this reason, I am happy to offer therapeutic support to the international communities.
Living an international existence brings potential for personal growth. It can also bring many challenges. Very often, after moving to another country you may experience feelings of loneliness, fear, sadness, or even anger. Being an expat or an international can make you feel as if you are living in-between different worlds. This can lead to an emotional crisis or to experiencing challenging relationships with other people.
During our sessions, we can explore such difficulties, understand your situation better and work on finding solutions together. Doing therapy is not a sign of weakness or something shameful. It is rather a sign of strength, courage and it shows your need and curiosity to grow as a person.
